2010 Easter Egg Hunts
by The Webmaster
To participate in the hunt for prize-filled eggs, please have the kids there promptly at 1 p.m. Where? At the Visitor Center. Oh..this brings back so many great memories of my sister and I running around the garden on a warm spring day looking for brightly colored, foil wrapped eggs wrapped in fancy ribbons. Make it a learning experience by taking in the actual history of the Easter Egg and how it became a seasonal tradition. Children will also have the opportunity to make crafts, play games and color Be sure to call the Visitor Center at (703) 583-6904 to inquire about the event fee. Mark your calendars for April 3, 2010 - It's the Rippon Lodge Egg Hunt where activities include an egg hunt and colonial games. The fee is $5 per child and children under 2 are free. Rippon Lodge is located at 15500 Blackburn Road, in Woodbridge, VA 22191. A time has not been given for the Egg Hunt so you might want to call their Office at (703) 499-9812 to avoid disappointment. If you are hosting an Easter Egg Hunt in the Woodbridge, Virginia area, please feel free to post it on our blog or send us an email with details and information. We'll add it to our list of things to do in the Woodbridge, Virginia area.
