Culinary Flashback: Al-Zaytoun Kabob & Grill
by Corinne
(New Jersey)
Having spent much of my teen years in the Middle East, to include 3 yrs in Afghanistan, my lunch last week at Al-Zaytoun Kabob & Grill was a trip down memory lane.
The lamb kabobs were tender, boneless chicken kabobs perfectly seasoned, and the seekh kabobs will make your eyes water.
All are served with fresh out-of-the-oven tandoori naan.
Everything was delicious, service was quick, the price was right, and all this washed down with an incredible homemade mint lemonade.
Whether you've always been a fan of Middle Eastern food, or are out to explore take it from one who's been there ... you won't be disappointed.
Tim's Rivershore

Sunset at Tim's Rivershore Restaurant
Hidden (almost literally) on the banks of the Potomac...Tim's Rivershore is a must for anyone who loves to dine by the water...and is willing to get their hands dirty - eating crab.
Their endless steamed crabs are awesome...as are the crab legs and mussels.
It's a great place for a fun date night or night out with friends.
My only recommendation is to come hungry!
